Appraisal Process:

Initial telephone consultation to determine services needed and scheduling of appointment.

On-Site inspection of specific items, including inventory, measurements, photography and examination.

Research, market analysis and valuation conducted after appraiser returns to the office

Report writting and documentation. Each item will be given a description, condition, value and digital photograph. Appraisals are comliant with the report writing standards of the CAGA, International Society of Appraisers, and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USAP) and the IRS regulations when required.

Delivery of the Appraisal in approximately 2-4 weeks, depending on the number of items appraised and the appraisers schedule. It may take longer in some cases. Reports are available by printed copy, CD-Rom or electronic transmission.

Appraisal Fees:

Appraisal Fees for on-site time including consultations, inspections, and meetings are $200.00 per hour, with a 2-hr. minimum.

Research, documentation and other administratuve time is charged at $125.00 per hour. There is an average of 2 hours of research and Documentation time for every hour of inspection time. Signed contract and deposit required at the time of inspection. The balance is due and payable upon receipt of the Appraisal.

Expert witness services including deposition arbitration and court appearances are charged at $300.00 per hour, with a 3 hour minimum. Designations may be made only with a signed contract and designation fee.
